Our Community United Tee Project is underway!
Dodd's Furniture & Mattress is a proud supporter of Team Sales Vancouver Island's Our Community United Tee Project.
An initiative born out of necessity to help our community, Gordy Dodd urges all small business owners from across the region to "Adopt a Charity!" Here's how it works...
Visit Team Sales' online store here: https://bit.ly/37oC9T1. Click on the TEE of your choice, order as many as you like & proceeds will go directly to charity...or should we say "Chari-TEE!" (see what we did there?)
Proceeds from Gordy Dodd's Tees benefit Headway Victoria Parkinson's Centre. Frontrunners Victoria: Shoes for Youth Victoria Cool Aid Society; Wilson's Group: BC Children's Hospital Foundation; Russell Books: Victoria Literacy Foundation; Max Furniture: Lifetime Networks; Lion's Pride Gymnastics Academy: Goldstream Food Bank.
Mira Laurence, Headway Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson's Centre Executive Director: “Like all charities, we have had to cancel major fundraising events due to Covid-19. For small local agencies like ours, these events are the life blood of our organization. This initiative is an opportunity for our business community, including those hurt by the pandemic to support and align with a local charity of their choice, without affecting their bottom line. It truly is a Win, Win, Win by all accounts.”
John Wilson, Wilson's Transportation CEO: “During these trying and uncertain times, it can be difficult to find a way to help. Not all businesses offer gift cards that can be purchased, and several remain closed unsure when they will be able to reopen. This project that Team Sales has created is an awesome opportunity to show your support. Both through the funds collected and by wearing these T-shirts with pride for Greater Victoria’s local businesses and non-profit organizations. We are very grateful to Moreno and his team for giving us this opportunity to be part of the Community T-shirt project, and for helping us to continue to give back to one of our favourite charities.”
